Phillip-Great photo of the Picadilly. What's interesting is the sign advertising a 4-5-6 dice game. I've never seen that
before. It's played with three dice and was popular with servicemen. I'm not sure how popular it was in Reno but
I've had old timers tell me about it. You can read about it in Scarne on Dice. Glen Neely, the Casino Manager at the
MGM when I worked there, (he hired me) told me he dealt crapless craps at the Picadilly in the late 40s. He was
a real classy guy. Tiny's later became the Ground Cow restaurant and later Arch Drug #2. Herz Brothers are related
to Howdy Herz. Primm took over that location. The ad for the Picadilly,of course was drawn by Lew Hymers. It's
a shame what Virginia Street has turned into.
