I can't say that I have seen them in person since the table was pulled. However, a former coworker was a high roller at the MGM Grand (regularly stayed at the Mansions). He was not interested in chips, but told me 8 - 10 years ago that he won $100,000+ in an invitational slot tournament, and that he was paid in plaques. He has no idea what they were, and he cashed them in. I would assume that they are all live, and that they just aren't used in the main casino. I would expect that he could chase one down if so inclined, but he's not.
