Has anyone considered that the MOGH could easily fuel the Club's continued decline. Why is the Club starting a museum?
It can barely sustain it's current position with members. We are loosing sight of our original market and we are failing to adapt to new markets.
Reading through that thread on the Club Board… It seems like we are missing the most important issue. Our Club is in big trouble organizationally and the MOGH is in no position to save the Club or the hobby. I believe that there is a place for a Gambling History Museum in Las Vegas but it will need to be founded and developed by individuals who have a viable business plan and are willing to devote their lives to the mission. In my opinion it will need to have it's own 501c3 independent of the CCGTCC. It will also need to be incorporated in Nevada.
