SEAPORT CASINO ARUBA
WHILE ON OUR CRUISE TO CAREGNA, COLUMBIA AND BACK WE STOPPED AT ARUBA FOR A DAY. WE DID THE TOURIST THING, WALKED AROUND, CHECKED OUT THE VENDORS, AND OF COURSE VISITED ALL THE CASINOS WE COULD.
IN ARUBA THERE ARE ONLY TWO WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF THE SHIPS; THE CRYSTAL PALACE AND THE SEAPORT CASINO. http://www.themogh.org/cg_chip2.php?id=AWORSC
CRYSTAL PALACE WAS EASY, BUT THERE WAS NOT MUCH NEW TO HARVEST, HOWEVER, NANCY LOVED THE SLOTS AND IT WAS HARD TO GET HER OUT OF THERE.
THE SEAPORT WAS A FAIRLY LONG WALK FROM THERE. WE WALKED THROUGH THE MALL THE CRYSTAL PALACE WAS HOUSED IN AND OUT THE ENTRACE OF A VERY GLITZY HOTEL TO THE STREET. THEN WE WALKED OVER A BRIDGE AND DOWN TO A MARINA WHERE THE SEAPORT CASINO IS HOUSED.
THIS WAS A NEW EXPERIENCE FOR ME. WHEN WE WALKED INTO THE SEAPORT CASINO THEY HAD BINGO BEING CALLED, ALL OF THE BLACK JACK TABLES HAD PEOPLE SITTING AT THEM WITH THEIR BINGO CARDS LAID OUT IN FRONT OF THEM. SEVERAL EXTRA CARD TABLES WERE SET UP ALL OVER THE CASINO, ALL SNACK BAR TABLES AND MOST SEATS IN FRONT OF THE SLOTS WERE OCCUPIED BY BINGO PLAYERS. THE PLACE WAS CROWDED. I FINALLY FOUND THE CASHIER, AND BOUGHT 5 $1 CHIPS. I DID NOT KNOW THEY WERE BRAND NEW AT THAT TIME. NO, I DID NOT BUY ENOUGH CHIPS AT THIS CASINO. …REGGIE

Nancy and I are going on vacation FROM MAY3rd - 16th. No Page of the Day’s are scheduled for the this time period. We will be traveling to Vancouver and catching the Celebrity Solstice. For a weeks cruise up to Alaska and back. Make your order for any of their chips now… Brrrrrrrrrr.

CHIPS AND VARIATIONS
Collecting chips is quite an adventure, there are so many ways of going about it. Everyone has an agenda or parameters that govern their collecting methods. With that thought in mind, I try to secure all variations, back up racks, UV’s, 1st series, 2nd series, etc. of any casino. Especially, the one dollar chip.
Every week, I come across a variation, or mold design, that I had not took note of before, and add it to my “Page A Day”. It adds to my total inventory and variety.
I realize this is not of any importance to many chippers. However, to those that do collect UV’s, Mold variations and chip design changes, it is very helpful; hopefully… Please email me any areas of variations and design that you think I need to address.
