Going down to your local library sometimes and looking through the Polk Directories is easy to do. You also have pay for sites like Ancestry.com and newspapers.com that could assist you. It is generally a little easier to research a Club when you live in the area. (Not always though) some times you will run into an old timer that has info and other times the info just isn't found anywhere. Keep up the good work. Sooner or later you will get hooked on the history!! 😀 I think the history of a place is often better than just having a chip.
