We took a ride up the west coast of California this past weekend. I stopped at many antique stores and a couple of very small casinos (no chips). We made our way up to Eureka, Ca.
I went by the S &K card room. The ChipGuide listing says it is open....its been closed for as long as locals can remember. Some say 5 years and others said 10 years. (Maybe longer) There was another guy in the location after the original owners named Sonny Smith. (His first name I believe is Ortho). I also think he kept the S & K name on the place. These S&S chips came from there....according to the antique dealer I got the chips from.(I got them Saturday)SS =Sonny Smith. I don't believe the L mold chips in the last 20 years.
