We were in Las Vegas a week ago. Went to the Plaza and I was admiring the MOGH display...nice job, team! I noticed prints of the Plaza for $10 each, hanging near the MOGH display, and I had to chuckle....my husband wondered if we gave them the idea to sell them....

One time, while staying at the Plaza, our daughter-in-law mentioned how much she liked the Plaza print that was hanging in the room. So last fall my husband was on a mission to get one of those prints! Of course, by the time he dreamed up the mission, we only had about 24 hours left in town. He went to see the slot hosts and explained what he wanted. The host he was talking to said that no one who was there could authorize the sale of a picture. Then someone else mentioned that there was a stack of those prints in the closet (same image as the ones in the rooms, but much smaller)...but there was some water damage on them. One of them went to the closet and grabbed the stack...my husband offered to buy a couple of them. Instead they peeled a bunch off and handed them to him...there turned out to be 8 of them.

We managed to get them home (due to lack of time, I ended up making a cardboard "tube" to pack in my suitcase!). I trimmed about 3" off the damaged edge and we took 3 of them to Hobby Lobby. We went with a simple matte black frame and non-glare glass. Rather than framing them ourselves, we had Hobby Lobby do what they called a "dry mount" (I think), which took out a few small "dimples" that were in the pictures. We have one hanging in the game room/man cave, the other 2 made great Christmas gifts!
