Known.I would have just taken the info in my California book as good. I to was a bit suspicious about a SS Monte Carlo chip with the Initials WHC and The description of Will.H Clark. I found a chip at the convention as well, from a dealer that said SS Monte Carlo on the 2x2 paper chip holder. So I bought it immediately"always looking for ship chips from this area"Anyway I showed it to Barry and Butch Reynolds saw it and he recognized it as being a chip from another club in California,I don't remember maybe Bakersfield. We looked in the book and for sure fit the description perfectly,so told the dealer it wasn't from where it said and he refunded my money.I see what you mean about trying to match initials on chips to people or owners of certain clubs or casinos.Oh well at least I thought I had gotten lucky and found a chip from this ship,I'll just keep my eyes open.Did find some recently from the Galileo and looking for SS Johanna Smith,SS Monte Carlo,SS Rose Isle. Fortunately I picked up an SS Caliente chip from Henry Garret years ago at the Long Beach coin show.I have shown that one and it needs to be put into the Chip Guide as well, thats a beauty.I'll show it again,no mistaking with this one, says SS Caliente on the chip!!! thanks again Gene,Torrey
