This chip was from a collection of casino items found in California and Las Vegas area. Also I don't think a chip like this would have come from a purely Italian cruise liner. Wouldn't it be a Lira or a Spain style chip? I would have to lean more toward Santa Monica and Las Vegas,would be far more likely especially from the collection it came from with other Rex chips from Sacramento,Salinas,San Jose etc. They most likely did have some gambling aboard that ship but I would think the chips would have been a bit more different looking. Thanks for the interesting article but it would be nice of you if you could help me in a possible attribute to The SS Rex Santa Monica and Las Vegas versus discrediting what is more probable,Torrey
