Thought I'd share the new acquisition the S.S. Rex chip that I was so excited to get.So maybe it is a Las Vegas chip? I got it in the mail today and had to show in it's bare naked state.The WHC Wilbur H Clark S.S. Monte Carlo,Long Beach and Coronado,Ca circa 1940 Black HUB-H.S. Listed in my book as Long Beach,but was known as well to be off shore of Coronado as well.I think it probably served both locations at certain times,only a few miles apart and easily done at sea.This is a chip from the ship recently uncovered by high surf in Coronado,ca.but not found recently from wreck,I don't think any chips could survive that much salt water.Thanks you guys for helping on possible history of the S.S.
