I decided to see how many variations there are on the laminated chips that H.C. Edwards made years ago for the Americana casino in Aruba. American Airlines either owned the place or had a piece of it. The mold looks like the H-mold except there are no H's in it. I think Howdy named it Double Broken Circle mold and I don't think it was used on any chips other than Americana.
These chips are unusual in that viewed from the edge, you see a different color center-inlay in the chip. I'm showing the 1, 5, 25, and 100 chips in posts below along with the edge view of each chip that I've seen. I happened to see a 25 for sale on ebay today and that jogged my memory. BillReindel was the seller and he confirmed that his green 25 had one of the colors that I know about for the chip.
If you have a chip with a different color inlay, how about replying with information on yours (and maybe a scan of the edge as well). I found the best way to scan the edge is to stand the chip on-edge on the scanner glass and leave the cover open (if you close it, you leave a dent in the foam covering on the cover).
