Jay, I haven't yet had the pleasure of meeting you, via email communication, as I am a fairly new member and it will likely be a few years before I am able to attend one of the Annual Conventions. I believe I have a very good grasp on the kind of person you are based on those I do know, who have commented in your defense as well as in support of the job you do and have done as VP of our club. Having said that, I will vote for you under two conditions:

1) You make me a star, being in the movie business and all.
2) You aquire some of the aforementioned "Doug dust" and mail it to me, very carefully packaged because if it should arrive damaged, sadly you will lose my extremely coveted vote.
