When i was in grad school at Michigan; had a small repair job; took the car in forgetting to bet my camera equipment out of the trunk; when I returned that night--cameras and equipment gone; I told the owner who said it wasn't them as there was nothing in the trunk when I brought it in; called the Ann Arbor police--cop came; listened; said nothing he could do as it aas "he said, yous said"--suggested I file a civil action. That garage got more than the dime repair.
