What was NOT warranted was the attacks launched on a child who was merely trying to get ADVICE on starting a new hobby. My parents always told me that if I didn't have anything good to say, I needed to keep my mouth shut. That was obviously not the lesson learned by some here.

NOT ONE TIME HAS HE ASKED ANYONE TO SEND HIM ANYTHING. He only asked for advice.

If you didn't think he was who he claimed to be, fine....move on with your life. How do I know YOU are who you claim to be? He never asked you for anything in the first place.

And to the Internet inspector clouseau who took the time to research posts I made 12 years ago on a duck hunting forum...a couple more keystrokes would have revealed who Carrson is, but you were obviously more interested in being an Internet tough guy than you were in getting your information correct.

Thank you to the guys that have emailed. I read all of your mails to Carrson and he is very appreciative of your support.

I'll not continue this back and forth banter as I want(ed) this to be a positive experience for my son. I have posted my personal email address for anyone that feels the need to continue this discussion.
