The JC is the Johnathan Club,Los Angeles,Ca 1922-30's nice to get these.I remember as a kid there was a Johnathan Beach Club in Santa Monica,Ca on the beach north of the Santa Monica Pier and at the time and I guess still today was very ritzy,serving people on the beach drinks in there lounge chairs and umbrellas,I'm sure it was the same club,just not down town Los Angeles.Maybe even used the chips here as well.Also I have the WHC which has been talked about recently,the SS Monte Carlo has showed its hull on the beach after a storm and I was lucky enough to pick up this chip,not from the wreck but purchased.WHC Will H Clark and is in my California book with 3 others described as being hub mold and 5cent, Black 15 cent shown and 25cent chips circa 1940 1st chip order by Will. H Clark. Also the Menlo ER Club,San Francisco,Ca Circa 1940's too. Just adding some to my California collection I've been neglecting lately because of all the Las Vegas and Reno/Tahoe chips that have been showing up.Finally got the $1 thru $100 Havana Riviera chips with the new addition of the $25 chip yeah !!!
