He is not associated with the FBI National Crime Information Center, the NCIC that most people think of then they see NCIC. I think he probably chose the name of his organization to make you think of it, but it has no relationship and the law enforcement badge on his web site is misleading.

There may be some plated "silver bars" on the market intended to mislead customers. Don't think his site is the place to find information on them though. That's all my post was intended to say.
