Do you know where the name "The Eagle" came from? Or where Klamath Falls came from?

Here is what we found while doing a search.

W.H. Hertel
325 N. 5th Street
Walla Walla, WA
1200 chips – 1946
Wallace H. "Wally" Hertel settled in Walla Walla, WA, after leaving the service where he fought throughout France. In the late 1940s, he was an owner in the Headquarters Cigar Store (and beer parlor) at 104 Main Street with two brothers named H.H. and J.W. Heimbigner. An avid bowler, in 1952, he took over the Recreation Bowling Alley at 25 W. Alder St. (add attached).

The address on the card is residential. I don't have access to a 1946 Walla Walla directory, but the state library does have them.

I don't know what the "L" stands for yet.
