There is a TV series about the OJ Simpson trial. I remember when there was all the media frenzy of the original trial. Back then, I wondered.... What if OJ had died before the verdict came in. I mean the lawyers had made their cases and the jury was now deliberating...... Would the whole trail just cease and be called off as far as all the money bet on the outcome. Or would they go on and give a verdict, even though he he was dead, to pay off winning bets? There didn't seem to be any doubt as to his guilt but, there was great interest on the jury's verdict and how the media circus played out.
