Last October, my wife and I stayed at the Golden Nugget.
The GN is a beautiful resort. The employees are friendly and eager to help.
The valet parking guys are super fast.
The front desk check-in crew are great. At check out she even asked if she could print out my flight e-tickets.
The Claim Jumpers restaurant makes a killer Chicken ONO pot pie!!!
Enough to share for two.
The GN buffet is not as good as the Fremont's Prime Rib and Seafood nights.
Cheaper too!
I have never stayed at the D.
We, Hawaiians stay at the Cal, MainStreet or Fremont.
Having a Boyd's player card, we get discounts on the buffets.
The Boyd's property security is one of the best. They are hidden, but pop in so fast to protect U from baddies.
The hotel rooms are plain, simple, not the JW Marriott, but clean safe and comfortable.
Lots of covered parking.
