..also stayed at the Nugget a few times..the rooms at The D were surprisingly nicer than the Golden Nugget..at less than half the price.

True about the Fremont Street noise though..that could be said for just about any downtown property facing the FSE..though the Nugget is the quietest, by far.

I remember staying at Binions right before they closed the hotel several years ago..outside noise was deafening at times..
