The Victory Club and Magnesium Club were right next door to each other and the Hut Club was right across
Boulder hiway. I worked with George Jameson who owned the Hut from '48 to '52. He told me his Father and
Brother were part owners of the Victory and Magnesium clubs. George sold the Hut to two women who sold it
Jim Thorpe the famous athlete. He told me stories about all the fights that went on at these places. I used to
stop in the Victory Club in the early 70s but there was no live gaming by then.
