They are very nice chips. You describe them well. I still have some in original boxes, I think, but don't recall where they are. I've sold them in the past. They are quite old (about mid 20th century), not made anymore. I think oil based plastic. Not terribly valuable, but nice, pretty, not seen often, collectible as a large set.
