BTW: Probably 1st issue from Embajador!!
In Response To: Re: Chip ID Help Needed ()

According to most records, that chip was the first Dominican chip made for the Embajador, see below, Scrwn. The E.D.R. believed to stand for Embajador Dominican Republic.

However some claim that the first issue was the one below, which, although with really bad HS printing, is usually found quite new or barely used.
These may have never been used on the Hotel casino tables, or only for a brief time. Some believe that most of these chips were removed early and used by V.I.P.s in their own homes.

Still trying to find a chipologist here that could help with mold, type etc to decide on first. Most of those records, made while Trujillo was the Dictator and owner of the Dom Rep, were lost or destroyed.

FYI-The first casino in the Dom Rep was the Jaragua, but some say thet the "Voz Dominicana" casino was already open and going on illegally, also owned by TRujillo, of course, when the Jaragua Casino first opened. The second official casino was considered to be the Voz and probably Embajador, the hallmark of Dominican casinos, was the thid to open.
