Now, these are supposed to be from the Cardenas Club, even tried to copy a slant in the letter "a" that the HS had in the other chips from there. But, again, I think at this point the only chips made out of MOP for use in Cuba were for the Union. The other "Cuban sets" were for private use, as you know, I think by now we have cleared out all the other MOP's as being from somewhere else ending up in Cuban sellers hands. Although plenty of European chips ended up in Cuba in very early XX century, late XIX, for use in different private clubs or maybe some European owned casinos in Cuba, But we do not have much info from the era.

Most of that info, including early century Cuba is locked up in libraries since the revolution or rather the Castros dictatorship took over. And, they will not open until they are gone.Everything is locked up. I was able to get into one of the old libraries in Santiago by bribing the guard, but lucky I am still not there...long story!
