When you live by the water you have to take the Good with the Bad - that's the way it is. 95% of the time it is a great place to live and I have been here all my life (almost 70 years). Unfortunately today we are experiencing the "Bad" !!! Water is way high = surrounding the house over the road and almost in the cars and the House. We are about 6" below the high tide we experienced with Super Storm Sandy in 2013. Water is probably 15 to 18 inches from coming into the house on our lowest level.
Hopefully the tides will recede and we will not get water in the house or the cars .
So, if you get a chance - say a couple of prayers for us and hopefully will be able to "weather the storm".
