I would presume that salvage folks don't have any interest in NCV chips (generic in this case). Years ago, I bought some high value Premier Cruise Lines chips from a guy who had a hoard of high value chips. I wrote him and asked how did he get so many chips, and he said he worked at a salvage yard, and the chips were left stashed in the hull and he found them when they were scrapping the inside. He said he had boxes, mostly new ones. I was glad I asked him and he was happy to let them go for a couple of dollars. The rest of the story is my good fortune.
