True Story How I Lived on Coconuts
In Response To: ncr "The Tree of Life" ncr ()

I was 23 and attending U of Miami School of Law. Plenty of law books, but little money for food. School closed for Christmas break, meaning the cafeteria also closed. I saw that locals threw away perfectly good coconuts every week - so I would grab one, take it back to my dorm room, crack it open and enjoy!

Never got that J.D. - moved West for many further adventures without coconuts. Fortunately southern California gets whole ones from Mexico and canned coco water, milk and cream from Thailand to keep me going.
