Here's another oddity from the 40 Grand - thin pinochle type chip, either meant as a keychain fob or used for drop chip?
From what I deduce, Lloyd Hickey was something of a local music impresario, offering patrons country western music which was then quite popular. Jay found he also had a music club in the West Sacramento area. Hickey apparently came up with the winning formula of offering card games in a back room (probably illegal) to pay for the swing music in the front.
Chips from 40 Grand seem to be relatively scarce.
