Fred, Harolds Club was only on the east side of Virginia Street. Across the street was just a billboard pointing to it.

Here's a 1946 image of the Reno arch, with the old Harrah's Bingo Club on the bottom floor of the Virginia Hotel, between East Douglas Alley and Harolds Club.

The original Reno Arch was moved and replaced with the more colorful arch around 1963. Then in 1987 the third and current Arch was installed.
