I'm not sure it's a great score....I did pay a little more than comfortable and it does have condition issues (the big chip 😁) BUT...I think I got a fair deal. This guy at the Antique Faire I go to on the 1st Sunday of the month first showed me that chip about 3 1/2 years ago. He didn't want to sell it...just tease me with it. I asked him what the " I don't want to sell it price" was and he said $2500. I just about crapped myself. Nooooo way, too much!!
He kept showing me that chip. Not every month, but maybe 3-4 times a year. Every time he showed it to me the price went down. Last year it was $600 and today it was $325. We agreed on $250 w/ the red Golden Bank 10 center thrown in. I think I got a fair deal. I think I could at least break even when/if I decide to sell. I consider myself a cheapskate....I almost never pay that kind of money for chips😜... That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Thanks for your input.
