I drove to Hanford and then on to Chukchansi Casino today and, as I approached Tulare on Route 99 -- I figured, what the heck, might as well see what's at 892 and 896 N. J Street. And here are the photos! No sign of the U-Save Cafe, unless Johnson Electric Motors is in the building now. But the remnants of the gas station, with 892 on the defunct mailbox, are still there!

The station building is full of storage boxes. Wasnick Brothers Delaval Milkers now occupies the property. Hey, cows like 'em, you should too. The tanks behind the station are for milk. Fill 'er up, Bossy!
