I was told by a fellow collector that the carving looked a bit tired. Well, I had a dentil pick and a half hour to spare.

After looking at the cleaned piece I wonder how someone could hand carve such an intricate piece and do it a couple of hundred times. I probably spent more time cleaning it than it took the original carver to carve it.
