I've always thought the Colony Casino in Reno had some classy-looking chips, but I've wondered about its location. The Chip Rack lists the address at 218 N. Center St., and I've seen that address elsewhere, too. But this picture indicates that it was on the main drag of Virginia Street. It's possible the casino extended all the way to Center Street, which is one block east of Virginia, although that would have been a big place for Reno in that era.
Anyway, I'm glad I found this picture from the 1960s.
