Many Trump supporters say the bankruptcies had nothing to do with Trump, and that he had only reached name-licensing deals with bad businessmen who caused financial ruin and his "good" name to be harmed. I always thought he was central to the decision-making that led to financial disaster and the loss of many livelihoods.
