Recent storms have made it likely that the Lake Tahoe area is going to have a white Christmas this year. I don't know if this picture from the 1950s was taken on Christmas, but the Sierra Lodge in Crystal Bay certainly had its share of snow in its day. Jim Kelley's Nugget now operates on this spot.
