I play 2/4 limit poker at Turning Stone every Tuesday--same old pharts--who have been playing holdem since the 7 card game shut down a few years ago. Yesterday, a woman joined us; I heard a player ask if she'd played here before. She said,"Oh, I've never played poker but I watched on TV." She called the first 5 hands, raised on the river; got called only once and won all five hands; lost the sixth; won the seventh; and then the fun began (for everyone else at the table--my cards went dead); she then lost almost every hand, calling at the end time after time with what had to be a losing hand; finally after losing nearly $200 she left - only to join an unlimited game at the next table. And several said, "That's a shame; they'll kill her." Not me--I didn't win a chip from her.
