Well, one thing that I have learned while running this contest is that I am terrible at remembering to do updates. I apologize to all of the participants that I missed a few weeks of updates and if I run another contest next season I will try to do better (no promises though ).

The finally of the Amazing Race was last Friday with 3 teams still in contention to win - Chris & Logan, Kelsey & Joey, and Justin & Diana. Going into the finally, Justin and Diana were clearly the favorites after winning so many legs during the race (either 7 or 8 out of 10) followed by Kelsey & Joey who had taken 2nd place for the previous 5 legs. Logan and Chris were a surprise team to make the final 3 and during the course of the race never seemed to work well together and were constantly fighting.

In the finally it was a pretty close race between Justin & Diana and Kelsey and Joey coming down to the last task where they were neck in neck attempting to build chairs to see who would finish first, get their clue, and run to the finish line. Both teams finished at the same time but the judge said Justin & Diana needed to fix a chair while Kelsey and Joey got it right, got a clue, and ran to the finish line where they were crowned the winners of the Amazing Race.

I want to thank everyone for participating and I hope to run this contest again in February when the next season starts. I will try to post a scan of the chips that I won from the contest in the next day or two.
