Most of the casino chips you see in movies are from "fake" casinos:
"Silver State Casino" from the 1989 movie "Blind Fury" (a real Riverside Casino chip with a sticker over it):
"Seth's Casino" from the 2000 movie "Boiler Room":
Other prop chips blur the lines, real casinos but fake chips from the place:
Riviera chip set from the 2009 movie "The Hangover"
Another interesting set are the ones from the 2001 movie "Tomcats". There was a short scene filmed at the Hard Rock Casino in Vegas. From what I have heard, when they were about to film the scene, the hotel did not want their actual chips to appear on screen. The prop department went to work quickly and made some chips from the "Hard Road" casino, modeled after actual Hard Rock chips. The casino scene is very short and not really important to the story of the film, so these chips are very hard to find.
These are just a few examples. There are a lot more.
