Then I had to go upstairs and look at the chip again.....and then flipped it over. Low and behold the other side had a stronger Hot Stamp!

I also put the chip on the scanner bed to give it the "spin test" to see if it was warped (nope, flat as a normal chip)

The "V" is a solid as any Hot Stamp can be at 1200 DPI.
