There are places that will pay you, give you a vehicle for free, or offer a substantial discount to get it from Point A to Point B (people getting relocated to a new home; rental companies re-assigning their vehicles to meet seasonal demand). Getting back is a different story.

I rented a truck a year ago and got it for less than half price because they needed to get trucks out of Florida and up to Michigan.
