The Main Entrance Casino was indeed a separate business (and building) from the Stateline Country Club.

In the 1930s, German immigrant Carl Tychsen owned the Stateline Market, between the Stateline Country Club and Beecher's Nevada Club.

Down the alley between the Stateline Market and the Nevada Club, Tychsen opened Carl's Place Bar & Club around 1935, in a small building in the back.

Around 1938, Charles Silver and George "Frenchy" Perry opened the Main Entrance Casino in the former Carl's Place, with a long canopy running down the alley from the entrance to Highway 50.

In 1946, following Carl F. Tychsen's death, his property was auctioned off to George "Frenchy" Perry (owner of the Main Entrance Casino) and Eddie Sahati (owner of the adjacent Stateline Country Club).

The Sahati family turned the old Stateline Market and Main Entrance Casino into the new Itahas Lodge (Sahati spelled backwards), and around 1950 the Itahas Lodge became the Sahatis Club.

In 1954, it was leased to Paul Venturi and other investors, and it became the Stateline Redwood Room, until Bill Harrah bought it and all surrounding property, and they all became part of the current Harrah's Tahoe.
