I have enjoyed a Pappy 23 or 20 every year for the holidays for many years now.
But as the prices keep rising and it gets harder and harder to find I may have to find a new favorite.
Fortunately a VERY good friend found me some 10 year which will get me by.

Funny thing is years ago I always thought the 23 was a little pricey at $250.
Now I am willing to pay nearly 3x as much and even then people are paying more.

Man I miss the good old days before anyone else knew about that stuff.
By the way have you ever tried Balcones Single Malt whiskey?
It's an outstanding young whiskey out of Texas and is already getting tough to find.
