My Top Of The Mark Thoughts...

Beam once owned Maker's Mark -- perhaps one of the best Kentucky-straight bourbon brands around at the time. Bottle featured a feisty, red waxed sealer's mark that was very distinctive, and set the mark for a high-alcohol content, quality aged whiskey. Bean uses the word "Choice" to define it's best blends and top whiskeys. Over the years there is a complete line of aged, special bottled and decanted bourbon out there. Bean's Choice used mainly ornate and art-quality decanters for their premium whiskey. Beam sold the winning label Maker's Mark and it has changed hands multiple times -- currently owned by an Oriental company that continues the tradition of crafting Kentucky-style bourbon whiskey under that same label. Hope this helps someone further refine or define the chip's existence.

Below is a Van Gogh "Old Pheasant" Decanter -- other higher-end bottles are more ornately decorated and some even use porcelain construction.

And the standard, drinking man's green label "Choice" Kentucky Straight Bourbon.
