How do your make the complete flip from day to graveyard and stay focused? I used to manage a restaurant and there was this idea that all of the managers should know and work with all of the customers and employees to have a better feel for what was going on. So once every 3rd week I worked 'til 2am on Wed then came back 9 hours later at 11am Thur. Friday off, then Sat, Sun at 6am, then back to night shift on Monday. It dang near killed me. Finally after a year and a half of that we hired in a new manager who Loved Breakfast shift and hated Night shift, and at the begging of us two and the employees and customers, I finally got to stay on nights full time. That saved me from an early death :-)
