in the Casino Bavaro, Dominican Republick. See below, and the denomination chips used at the time were the $5 Casinos Nacionales de Panama. I do not remember when, but early 2000's Bavaro & Punta Cana Beah were just becoming popular and they opened this woodened house with a hughe sign that said Bavaro Casino.
I went in to see it and very few tables were open and I was the only late afternoon customer. Played some BJ with the only denomination chip, see below, and numerous color Perla chips werer used for roulette. Interestingly, they were all cancelled with that one hole? I kept the $5 casino chip and they "sold" me one of the roulette chips, not the entire set as I asked, because they did not have too many. I asked where the Perla chips came from an they looked at me as if I was from outer spacxe, after all, who cares??
A couple of years later I returned to what now was a beautiful place full of a large number of beaches in the process of being built on. The wooden house in the corner was now a full casino with their own chips.
Only now, after looking at David's offer, I recognized the name, it was my all roulette from the first Bavaro casino. So this cHIPCO just allowed me to figure out where these Perla casino chips came from, SLOVENIA! Weird!!! Would have NEVER GUESSED!!
