Well, that ends a pretty fun season. Back in Spring Training, I had no expectations that the Dodgers would be anywhere near as good as they were. When Ryu went down, I figured that was it. When the Dodgers (wisely) refused to give away the future for a big name pitcher at the trade deadline, I figured they wouldn't have enough to get past the first round. So, I am not too disappointed. It was fun, the Mets are a good team that can pitch and hit, and probably deserve to move on.
Things to be happy for: Seager, Schebler, Ruggiano, Hernandez, Turner, Hatcher.
Things to say goodbye to: Heisey (please), Rollins
Let's hope for a fun off-season. A way to make Anderson the fourth starter.
