I am not a stones expert but the picture looks late 1960s to me. I did go to the NY club in the late 69s early 70s. I recalled a lot of tables jammed together on different levels. That is exactly what the picture looks to me.

Was there a playboy club in the 60s/70s?

Now London, of course, would make sense. I don't know what the club looked like but the picture doesn't show a lot

However, if I had to guess, I'd pick the New York club.
