I have listed what are 22 of the harder AC Playboy Roulettes on ebay. you can see them here http://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_ipg=100&LH_Auction=1&_ssn=all-chips&_sop=1
How I came up with this is this.... as many of you know Silly Billy was NUTS! lol He had close to 1000 roulette chips. I sorted them out and made stacks. he had 117 different roulette chips. Thats a real nice collection! There are a possibility of 126 that no one has all of them yet.
so out of the piles I pulled all the chips that he only had one or two of. I listed those on ebay to end this Sunday. There was 8 or so with doubles. if any of those get 2 bids I will offer the 2nd chip as a second chance offer. I have told quite a few collectors about these and made a few trades before I listed them... Once they were listed I have had a few offers but to be fair I felt best to leave them on so everyone had the same chance and not to upset anyone that is watching them waiting to snipe... If any dont get a bid I will relist next week at a reduced starting bid until they sell... I know this is a very bad market and even worst for Atlantic City! (The Only thing I collect)
Last night I also listed a very rare and wanted $1 Brown notched back up. He had two of these. Im keeping the one with the smaller notches and listed the 2nd one on feebay. Starting bid in my minimum selling price. I would keep it for less... I offered him double for it years ago but found out that he paid 5 times that.... It was worth more to him than it was to me. He said when he dies he would will them to me along with the Green $1. he was in perfect health and all in joking when this was said.
God luck to all and appreciate all the bids on the previous lots sold! This is pretty much everything listed. I will relist others until they sell lowering the starting price until I have a bid. I do have a lt of other Paper stuff that has not been listed and surprised so many are interested in this...
Here are some samples of Roulettes. Note the 2 notched chips have blown out backs because they were glued to the felt the salesman carried. No one has these inh there collection. I think they might be a one of as kind! If you want to fill that hole in your collection this might be you only chance to get it!
