If claiming Øbama is a Muslim is grossly unfair and such claims constitute hatred, that must mean you and others who express such outrage at the claims believe that if he was/is a Muslim, it would be a very bad thing. If you didn't view being a Muslim as a very bad thing, you'd be saying "he isn't one, but so what if he was?"
