Last week end in Tomball Texas -- 1o minutes from my house they had a BUGS, BEER, and BBQ festival. All VW clubs came from all over Texas and a few from out of state and there was approximately 75 to 100 restored Bugs. The beer part was for the local micro brewers in the area and the BBQ was beef of course we're in Texas. I will try to get some follow up pictures. I didn't make it to the event.
